AKCP Pedigree
AKCP has been successfully designing and manufacturing cutting edge monitoring equipment for over 30 years and we are the market leaders in environmental and security monitoring for many industries
From developing a world-class video surveillance system AKCP has now integrated their know how into the Telecoms remote tower locations market by integrating the AKCP securityProbe with their leading environment monitoring and reporting equipment.
Why use AKCP?
The AKCP environmental monitoring units are easy to install with easy to follow wizards to help you along the way. Once installed you have the option of using the AKCP securityServer application, a central control dashboard that is intuitive to use and set up so you will be up and running in no time.
The backbone to each of your telecoms locations is the AKCP securityProbe 5E, a sophisticated unit with interfaces that allow you to set parameters for monitoring temperature, humidity and importantly generator fuel/oil levels. As well as environmental monitoring the securityProbe also lets you add up to 4 cameras for surveillance purposes so you can see what is happening even if you cannot physically be there. Multiple securityProbe’s in different locations can be controlled from the dashboard interface of the securityServer application, all aimed at giving you added peace of mind that your remote telecoms locations are secure and operational.

AKCP securityProbe 5E – remote location intelligent control device
The securityProbe 5E integrates with a wide variety of intelligent sensors giving you great flexibility in building a monitoring and control environment to match your exact requirements.
AKCP securityServer – simple to integrate, simple to use
All AKCP units integrate with the AKCP securityServer application, which is IP-based, just install the securityServer application and use the easy to follow wizards to link to your network and add any IP camera, AKCP unit or sensor, and then set your notification and alert parameters. The AKCP securityServer also features motion search, synchronized playback, remote viewing, and expanded connectivity, including LAN, WAN, Internet, dial-up, and is web browser enabled.
This is the ideal application for monitoring multiple remote telecoms locations, so with an AKCP securityProbe at each location you can monitor and control all locations on a single dashboard
Telecoms remote location security and control
Using the securityProbe 5E in each location enables you to connect a variety of intelligent sensors locally and this can be expanded to include fire prevention systems and smoke alarms. In addition, one of the key features of the AKCP securityProbe 5E is the video monitoring, recording and playback that can be saved locally with up to 32 gigabytes of local flash storage available. It is possible to link each location (with its own securityProbe) to the central AKCP securityServer application where the video monitoring, recording and playback can be stored on a central server database. This configuration gives you great flexibility to record vital video evidence locally or at a central location. Essential evidence on the rare occasion that your remote telecom site is threatened by unknown attackers or natural disasters.
These can be linked to sophisticated motion detectors so you only record key events. Also, for peace of mind when considering fire protection you can add smoke detectors linked to sprinkler and alarm systems to ensure each location is covered for property protection.
The AKCP Flexible remote telecoms starter package

Telecoms Tower Remote Location Battery Power and Fuel/Oil Monitoring
Intelligent sensors recommended for use with the AKCP securityProbe 5E

This sensor can be connected to any one of the security-Probe5E’s RJ-45 Intelligent Sensor ports enabling the system to continuously monitor the amount of fuel remaining. it can be configured to send normal notifications when the fuel level reaches 3/4 and 1/2 tank, and send critical alerts when fuel level drops down to 1/4 and 1/8 of a tank.

This sensor can be used to detect fuel theft or leakage by detecting a drop in fuel level while the engine is off or if the fuel level drops too quickly when the engine’s running. Unlike other fuel level sensors, this unit is extremely robust and easy to configure ensuring accurate fuel readings all the time regardless of environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.

Pricing
We have created a package that gets you up and running quickly at a minimal cost. You get total flexibility with a scalable solution that will grow and expand with your requirements. Our starter kit is perfect for any small project operating just one location and consists of 2 cameras, the securityProbe (SEC 5E) and generator fuel/oil level sensor, IO-digital8 dry sensor relay and access to the AKCP securityServer application interface. We have put together some other suggested packages that are suitable for different size Telecom sites as follows:
These MSRP prices are based on UMC camera @ $195 and securityProbe 5E @ $1395 and securityServer @$500+camera/sensor licenses, IO-digital8 @$65 and Fuel level sensor@$945
AKCP is always developing new and innovative monitoring solutions and with over 30 years experience in disaster prevention and environment monitoring you can be confident that what you get is robust and well proven.
